The House

Rear of house with view of balcony and garden

Your holiday home is located in the Rue du Presbytere which is a small lane close to the village square and just around the corner from Tremolat's famous church. This stone building is hundreds of years old and was extensively remodelled in the 1930's. It falls within the Bourg of Tremolat. This is the part of the village which used to be encompassed by the town walls during the medieval period. Alongside the House is the oldest part of the building and is what used to be the carpentry workshop where the menuisiers (carpenters) carried out their work for the medieval church and the community.

The House has been recently redecorated and upgraded to become a comfortable holiday home. We have large windows to make the most of the beautiful climate and lovely polished wooden floors. It makes a wonderful retreat for couples or families and comfortably sleeps up to 8. There are four bedrooms – 2 doubles and 2 twin beds which can be arranged to suit your individual requirements. There are two wc's and a modern shower room. The sitting room is comfortably appointed with  a TV video and DVD player. It is the coolest of rooms on the hottest of days! The kitchen has all that you need to provide for family mealtimes including a freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

The Garden

Outside there is a private, fully enclosed garden with a patio area and barbecue. Garden furniture is provided for lazy days and "al fresco" meals. There is private access to the brand new swimming pool enclosure which has additional lounging areas. The pool is fully enclosed for safety and privacy and is shared with residents of the Cottage and the owners. Exclusive use of the pool can be arranged with “timeslots” to suit if desired.
